"Jonathan Wood & The Raptor Project"

There will be a nature program featuring live birds of prey and ongoing presentations by Jonathan Wood & The Raptor Project, as well as displays and information by area nature centers, on Saturday, September 30, from 10 AM - 4 PM at State Line Lookout (northbound PIP opposite Exit 3 in Alpine). This is a free program, to be held rain or shine, open to all, with no advance registration required. For more information: 201 768-0379.

"Peanut Leap Cascade"

There will be a history hike with Eric Nelsen on Saturday, September 30, meeting at 11 AM at State Line Lookout (northbound PIP opposite Exit 3 in Alpine). This will be an approx. 4 mile hike in about 2 hours over moderate trails with several steep slopes. This is a free program, to be held "drizzle or shine," open to all, with no advance registration required. "Fall Hike along the Shore Trail"

There will be a nature hike with Nancy Slowik on Sunday, October 1, meeting at 10 AM at the Kearney House at the Alpine Boat Basin & Picnic Area (PIP Exit 2). This will be an approx. 3 mile hike in 3 hours over relatively easy trails. This is a free program, to be held "drizzle or shine," open to all, with no advance registration required. "Punch & Pie at Mrs. Kearney's Tavern"



There will be three public tavern night programs at the Kearney House, on Wednesday evenings October 4 & 11 (November 1 sold out), from 7 - 10 PM, with food & drink, music, tall tales, and more.
