At the PIP:

"Spring Cliffhanger Film Festival"

There will be a film history program with the Fort Lee Film Commission on Saturday, April 8, at 1 PM at the Visitor Center auditorium at Fort Lee Historic Park (Hudson Terrace immediately south of the George Washington Bridge). The featured film will be A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945). This is a free program, open to all, with no advance registration required. "Walk Along the Shore Trail"

There will be a nature hike with Nancy Slowik on Sunday, April 30, meeting 10 AM at the Kearney House at the Alpine Boat Basin & Picnic Area (PIP Exit 2). This is an approx. 3 mi. hike in 3 hrs. over relatively easy trails. This is a free program, open to all, with no advance registration required. For more information: 201 784-0484 / 768-1360.


"Spring Nature Walks"

There will be nature hikes with Sandy Bonardi on Wednesdays, April 26 and May 3, 10 & 17, meeting 10 AM at Greenbrook Sanctuary (U.S. Route 9W in Tenafly). These are approx. 3 mi. hikes in 2 hrs. over relatively easy trails. These are free programs, open to all (membership at Greenbrook is not required; non-members should arrive promptly by 10 to ensure access to the Sanctuary), with no advance registration required. "Punch & Pie at Mrs. Kearney's Tavern"

There will be two springtime tavern night programs at the Kearney House, with refreshments, music, and tall tales, Wednesday evenings, May 10 & 17, from 7 - 10 PM.
