Saturday, Oct 8th: "Fall Hike along the Shore Trail"
There will be a nature hike with Nancy Slowik on Saturday, October 8, meeting at 9:30 AM at the Kearney House at the Alpine Boat Basin & Picnic Area (PIP Exit 2). This will be an approx. 3-mile hike in 3 hours over moderate trails. This is a free program, open to all with no pre-registration required. For more information: 201 784-0484 / 768-1360.
Saturday's and Sunday's: "State Line Hawk Watch"
There is an ongoing hawk watch at State Line Lookout with Linn Pierson, every Saturday & Sunday through Nov. 27, weather permitting. For more information: http://www.njpalisades.org/hawks.htm
**"Punch & Pie at Mrs. Kearney's Tavern"
Some spaces remain for the Thursday evening tavern night programs at the Kearney House, Oct. 20 & 27, from 8 - 10 PM (only two spaces remain for Oct. 20). Cost is $10 per guest. To make a reservation: 201 768-1360 ext. 208; khouse@njpalisades.org
