Wednesday, February 2, 7pm: Eric Nelson of the PIP will give a slide lecture at Fort Lee Historic Park. The program is entitled "Life on the Edge" and will focus on the people and communities that settled along the undercliffs of the Palisades. Eric Nelson and his staff have a uncovered a wealth of information about life along the Hudson and Eric always gives a fascinating lecture. No preregistration required. Free. More info...
Sunday, February 13, 9am-4pm: "Eagles on the Hudson" birding fieldtrip with Linn Pierson. Meets at Park Headquarters, Alpine. Participants will then carpool up to Bear Mt. Event is free. But you must pre-register. (Limited to 15 people) Call 201-768-0379. And dress warmly!
