Some upcoming events from the PIP:
July 11 Sunday: "Sea Glass Hunt" with Emony Davis. For children of all ages. Meet 10am at the Alpine Picnic Area. Short hike to explore trailside beach; followed by a tour of the Kearney House; bring picnic lunch. $5 parking.
July 24 Saturday: "South Park" guided tour hike with Christina Fehre. Meet 10am at Ross Dock. 4 miles, 2 hours, moderate hiking with some slopes. $5 parking.
*August 14 Saturday: "Meet the Folk" tour of Alpine Cemetery's early gravestones with Eric Nelson. Meet 10am at Park Headquarters to carpool to cemetery. Free, no registration required. Bring picnic lunch (optional). More info: 201-768-1360 ext 208
